Although Saab are better associated with making defense and security systems, they did manufacture cars from 1945 up until 2011. Saab produced a small range of saloon, coupé, hatchback and estate models and some of these variations make great towing cars. Our range of Westfalia and Witter Towbars for Saab includes detachable, swan neck, fixed and flange variations. These have been manufactured to the highest standard because your Saab deserves the highest quality. To compare towbars, read our handy towbar type guide or if you are struggling with which towbar to choose, chat to us online or call our qualified support team on 01244 284555.
Saab manufactured four wheel drive cars with powerful turbo-charged engines. Because their cars were so powerful, they made great towing vehicles and can tow anything from a small trailer or bike rack to a caravan or horsebox. The Saab 9-5 can tow up to 1800kg, but older models may no longer be suitable for towing due to the age of the vehicles. It is important to check your towing capacity first to understand the maximum weight your Saab can tow.
When you have a towbar fitted, it is important that you also have an electrical kit installed. We always recommend having a specific Saab towbar wiring kit installed as this will sync up perfectly with your vehicle electrics.
With our nationwide network of approved fitters, you can rest assured that your towbar will be fitted safely and securely by an approved expert. To find your closest centre, simply enter your postcode and find your nearest fitter. When you buy a Saab towbar from us, the price includes the towbar, towball and you can also add on fitting and vehicle electrics. We have the largest choice of products on the UK market and all of our towbars meet Regulation 55 standards.
